The EXIM introductory course, "Trade Finance Solutions for Exporters, Lenders, and Brokers", is a, self-paced e-learning experience that comprises multiple training modules, each dedicated to a fundamental aspect of EXIM (e.g., policies, solutions, claims processes, etc.). The course is divided into six modules:

  1. ​Course Introduction
  2. Introduction to EXIM
  3. Overview of EXIM Policies and Mandates
  4. EXIM Solutions
  5. Disbursements
  6. Claims

This course is intended for U.S. Exporters, Brokers, Lenders and Regional Export Promotion Program (REPP) participants or anyone that is interested in learning about EXIM Bank's product and services. 

Courses
EXIM101-1 Module 1: Course Introduction
This unit will introduce you to the EXIM e-Learning course you're about to take. Known as EXIM 101, the 12-part course will teach you the fundamentals of EXIM's mission, policies and financing solutions. This information will be essential for U.S. exporters, lenders, brokers and REPP members who do business with EXIM.
EXIM101-2 Module 2: Introduction to EXIM
This module will provide general background on EXIM as an organization. It will also introduce you to the EXIM policies and financing solutions you'll learn about in later units.
EXIM101-3 Module 3: Overview of EXIM Policies and Mandates
This module covers the legal, policy and due diligence requirements that impact EXIM transactions.
EXIM101-4 Module 4: EXIM Solutions
This module contains five units. Each one covers a specific EXIM financing solution.
EXIM101-5 Module 5: Disbursements
This module comprises just one unit: 5.1, Medium-term Loan Guarantee Disbursements. This unit covers disbursements under medium-term guarantees. The disbursement process is most relevant to lenders, but all parties should be aware of these requirements.
EXIM101-6 Module 6: Claims
This unit explains the claims process related to EXIM's insurance policies and guarantees. It will cover key claims requirements for exporters and lenders who hold these policies and guarantees. This information will also be helpful for brokers assisting clients with the claims process.
